Greetings Members of UeshiroSRKUSA,

My sincere gratitude to all of you who continue on the path of Ueshiro Shorin-Ryu Karate USA. We all appreciate your continued input, efforts, and karate participation.

 

I thank you for the generous wonderful birthday gift in October 2008.

 

We continue to "keep training" and "move forward" on this fantastic karate voyage. We prepare for the 50th Anniversary of Grand Master Ansei Ueshiro's arrival on the shores of the United States in 1962, from his homeland, the island of Okinawa with the art of karate.

 

I share this quote from Kyoshi Mackay-Hombu Dojo:

“Congratulations to all the dojo and clubs world-wide who held promotions last month, February 2009, and have moved students forward in rank. The increase in the number of these tests is the greatest tribute we can pay to Grand Master Ansei Ueshiro for bringing Shorin-Ryu USA to our shores.

 

To those who were recently promoted: there is no better time to pick up your training. The demands of your new kata require it.”
