Onegai-shimasu Hanshi, Kyoshi, Sensei, Sempai and Deshi,

Our small core group continues to thrive at the Wilton, CT club housed in our company’s gym.  We enjoyed another small kampai dinner at a local restaurant.  Our goal is to continue to preserve and ensure the vitality of traditional Okinawan karate-do with our morning pre-work classes.  Our deck continues its vitality when attendance is full.

 In addition to the weekly club classes at the office, I continue to instruct a few dedicated high school students in my basement.  Although not a ‘proper’ dojo, we hope to grow the group and some day evolve into a more formal club/dojo. 

Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers for our Wilton club.  As we are all employees of a financial corporation facing difficult times, training in the company’s gym facility, our daily lives have taken on the stresses of the economic turmoil that you have heard about in the news.  We wish all of our karateka brethren the best of training!  See you on the deck!
