The Ueshiro Hong Kong Karate Club continues to move forward in the spirit of Master Ueshiro. In 2008, Tytus Michalski traveled to the USA, where he was tested and promoted to Sho-dan. Congratulations Sempai Michalski! We are all very proud of you. Sempai Michalski is the first student of Lai Sensei's to be promoted to Sho-dan. The Ueshiro Hong Kong Karate Club is honored.  

Also, we are very happy to announce that Kaplan Sensei will be visiting the Ueshiro Hong Kong Karate Club in June of this year! Kaplan Sensei is the original teacher of Lai Sensei, Wong Sensei and Sempai Kleusch and we are all so excited! Onegai-shimasu Sensei! Kaplan Sensei will be in Hong Kong from June 16th to June 22nd.  

We would like to take this opportunity to invite all other deshi and karateka to join Sensei Kaplan for this wonderful trip. We promise warm hospitality, an exciting tourist destination full of activities, and lots of extra sugar!! There is even the possibility of an overnight to Macau, so pack your bags and come on over.
