Onegai-Shimasu Hanshi, Kyoshi, Sensei, and all Deshi,
The Ueshiro Titusville Shorin-Ryu Karate Dojo held its inaugural class Monday, February 3rd at the Titusville YMCA Family Center to a more-than-capacity crowd.
The new deshi have been enthusiastic, bringing great spirit and an eagerness to learn to the deck. Our first tip test is scheduled to take place in mid-April. Our biggest challenge in the near term is to get classes relocated to a bigger room, but as Hanshi would put it, “it’s a good problem to have.” |

Classes are currently being held every Monday and Wednesday at the following times:
· 4:30 - 5:00: Kids between the ages of four and seven.
· 5:00 - 6:00: Adults and kids over eight years old unless training with an adult.

Domo Arigato to Hanshi Robert Scaglione for giving me the opportunity to bring our style of karate to the northern portion of Brevard County.
Arigato to Sempai Trevor Tezel, Sho-Dan, for having missed only one class since we began teaching karate at this location. His presence on the deck has been instrumental in ensuring that all of our students receive generous instruction.
